Touro University Worldwide MPA Program Granted Approval By WASC Senior College And University Commission
University now accepting enrollments into its Master of Arts in Public Administration degree program
Los Alamitos, CA – Touro University Worldwide (TUW) has announced that their new Master of Arts in Public Administration degree program has been approved by the university’s accrediting body, the Western Association of Schools and Colleges Senior College and University Commission (WASC).
This degree is designed to prepare students to fill an increasing demand for leaders in the public sector by teaching them the skills and competencies they need to excel in leadership and administration positions within a wide range of public and non-profit organizations. With 550,00 federal employees set for retirement, this degree will help prepare the next generation of public leaders to fill the gap.
Speaking on what this degree means for the university and its students, TUW Chancellor and Chief Executive Officer Dr. Yoram Neumann said, “We’re excited to be able to offer this degree to our students and are sure it is already positioned to be another way in which TUW can provide value to the community by preparing our graduates to tackle real-world challenges. There is a lot of opportunity available right now in the public sector, and the careers available are not only well-paying, but well-rewarding in the sense that that these careers allow people to make significant differences in our nation and in the world at large. Careers in public administration are challenging, though, and they require ample preparation to ensure success. We’re proud to be able to offer that preparation through our Master of Arts in Public Administration degree, and the recent approval of this degree by WSCUC to be offered by TUW is a wonderful conformation of the University’s effectiveness.”
Enrollment for TUW’s Master of Arts in Public Administration is now open to interested, qualified students.
