Dr. Yoram Neumann Returns to the Touro University System as Chief Executive Officer of Touro University Worldwide
Dr. Neumann Heads a Growing and Enriching Educational Environment for Military Students and Others Pursuing Online Graduate Degrees
Los Angeles, CA – Dr. Yoram Neumann returns to the 25-thousand-student Touro University system as the Chief Executive Officer of the online and not-for-profit Touro University Worldwide (TUW). He was the founder of TUW’s precursor Touro University International and he is considered an innovator in the distance education field, especially for students associated with adult learning, government, and the military.
Dr. Neumann has a goal to create learning institutions that are committed to social justice, intellectual pursuit, and professional development. His return as CEO of TUW brings much promise to the growing online university. Dr. Edith Neumann has also returned to the Touro family as provost of TUW. One of Dr. Neumann’s greatest strengths as an online educator is his passion for every student to have the opportunity for higher education, in particular, military students. Having had years of military experience in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), Dr. Neumann is very familiar with the needs of students associated with government and the military.
